Bantry House offers self catering accommodation in the recently restored and refurbished Gatelodge at the bottom of the avenue leading up to the house.
The Gatelodge is situated at the bottom of the avenue leading up to Bantry House, near the town centre, with a view of Bantry Bay. It is a listed building built in the 1830's. It was restored and refurbished recently and fitted with all modern conveniences. It has two bedrooms (a double room and a twin room) and two bathrooms, a sitting room and kitchen/dining area. It comfortably sleeps 4 people.
Car spaces are located adjacent to the Gatelodge. A walled courtyard is connected to the kitchen, it has a barbeque and appropriate seating for outdoor dining. The Gatelodge is fully furnished with cooker, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, television and dvd and will be stocked with basic kitchen ingredients. Broadband is available in the Gatelodge.
The Gatelodge is rented weekly . There is a refundable deposit of 100 Euro taken for any damages which might be incurred.
A complimentary visit to Bantry House and Gardens is included with your stay.
We are very happy to welcome children to the Gatelodge. However, parents with toddlers must take care and be aware there are two separate flights of stairs in the Gatelodge. There is a detachable safety gate available.
Bed linen and towels are supplied. A cot and highchair are available, if required. Bedding for the cot is not provided.
